The Mississippi Budtender Awards is hosted by Mississippi Cannabis School, part of EdAccelerator, Inc. Since 2022, Mississippi Cannabis School has trained over 3,500 cannabis industry professionals statewide. We have been at the forefront of this industry since before most dispensaries were open.
We led the Mississippi Marijuana Business Conference in June 2022. We provided official Budtender trainings at CannaCon in Biloxi and LuckyLeaf in Jackson. We built the professional foundation this industry stands on.
Now in its third year, the Mississippi Budtender Awards is the most important night in Mississippi cannabis. In 2025, we received nominations from patients, coworkers, and community members across the state — selecting 142 finalists representing 42 dispensaries. In 2026, that grew to 5,000+ nominations, 153 finalists, and 53 dispensaries. And we launched the MBA League — the first franchise-based competitive league for cannabis professionals in the nation.
